Medford Seniors of Cranberry Hall host AARP Fraud Watch presentation

The guest speaker will be Lillie Hudson, chairperson of The New Jersey AARP speakers bureau.

The Medford Seniors of Cranberry Hall in Medford, located at 17 North Main St., are pleased to present a timely presentation provided by the AARP Fraud Watch Network on Thursday, March 30, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

This presentation, which is free and is open to all Medford Area residents, will touch on a number of vital subjects aimed at protection during a fraud-ridden environment. The guest speaker will be Lillie Hudson, chairperson of The New Jersey AARP speakers bureau and a recent retiree of AT&T.

AARP’s Fraud Watch Network has recently published a Watchdog Alert Handbook, “13 ways con artists can steal your money.” Identity theft, investment fraud and scams rob millions of Americans of their hard earned money. Last year 13 million people were victims of identity theft alone.

The AARP Fraud Watch Network is a go-to resource on:

  • How to reduce fraud fallout resulting from a missing wallet
  • 10 ways to protect yourself from Identity theft
  • Are you safe using public wi-fi networks
  • And many more current security concerns facing us all
