Fourth grader gets the job done

By ROBERT LINNEHAN

It’s not every night that the mayor of Evesham Township will knock on your front door and ask to speak to your elementary school daughter. But, that’s exactly what happened earlier in the month when Mayor Randy Brown surprised the Bulza family with an impromptu visit to honor Kacy Bulza for her dedication to Evesham Township.

Brown presented Bulza with a proclamation for taking action and writing a letter to the mayor asking him for help with an issue in her development.

“Kacy should be commended for taking action and demonstrating the positive impace that one person can have on an entire community,” Brown said, reading from the proclamation.

Bulza wrote a letter to the mayor asking for his help to instal proper signage at the Marlton Hills development. Bulza said she was tired of telling her friends where she lived and nobody knowing what she was talking about.

“I could never tell people where I lived,” Bulza said.

Brown said that the township will be installing a bright, large sign in front of the development because of her leadership and interest in the community. He presented Bulza with a proclamation and a model of the sign that will be installed.
