Xtel Communications, Inc. in Marlton will once again partner with the U.S. Marines in the annual Toys for Tots campaign.
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off in the box in our reception area at 401 Route 73 North, Building 10, Suite 106 in Marlton (between Bertucci’s and Honda) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 9.
Toys for Tots, a program started in Los Angeles in 1947 whose mission is collecting new toys to distribute as Christmas gifts to needy children, conducts nearly 500 local campaigns covering all 50 states each year.
Local Marine Corps Leagues, Marine veteran groups or other socially conscious volunteer organizations oversee drives. Marine Corps League Detachment 695, based in Mt. Laurel under the direction of Adjutant Bill Wilson, organizes Xtel’s drive.
