Opinion: Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey thanks Ravitz Family Market ShopRites, staff, customers

For another year now, The Ravitz Family owned ShopRites have our all-volunteer U.S. Troop support non-profit at a loss for words. Once again, The Ravitz Family Markets in Marlton, Cherry Hill and Mount Laurel coupled with their amazing staff and most generous customers have gone above and beyond with generosity and support for Operation Yellow Ribbon and thus in turn, for our brave women and men serving our great country and deployed to the Middle East.

Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey is shipping large care packages weekly to our troops in Afghanistan and those supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. All the kindness and efforts provided at the five local Ravitz Family Markets have helped us tremendously with thousands of pounds of treats and hygiene products as well as what is a record amount donation wise to our organization.

Year in and year out; both the great people working at The Ravitz Family Markets as well as their customer base have shown their commitment to making the world a better place. For as long as I can remember, The Ravitz Family and staff at their ShopRite stores have been the most consistent force around in regards to giving back to the community and helping others in need.

On behalf of Operation Yellow Ribbon of South Jersey; we thank The Ravitz Family, their employees, and their customers for their amazing efforts, generosity, and for openly displaying their support to our all-volunteer group and to our U.S. Service Members serving our country and protecting our ways of life.

From the bottom of our hearts; we thank The Ravitz Family Markets, their staff and their customers for such amazing generosity and patriotism.

Sincerely,

David J. Silver
