The following reports are on file with the Evesham Police Department:
On Aug. 5 at 9 p.m., an officer with the Evesham Township Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on Marlborough Avenue. During the investigation Evesham Police K-9 Ciko was called upon to assist officers with the detection of narcotics. K-9 Ciko was walked around the exterior of the suspect’s vehicle at which time he alerted officers to the presence of narcotics inside the car. A subsequent search of the vehicle by officers resulted in the discovery of crack cocaine and hypodermic needles.
A male, age 33, of Audobon, was charged with third degree possession of crack cocaine and a disorderly persons offense for possession hypodermic needles . He was released on his own recognizance.
