The countdown is on for the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties’ Annual Campaign Kick Off Breakfast taking place Tuesday, March 7 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Mt. Laurel YMCA, located at 59 Centerton Road in Mt. Laurel. Networking begins at 7:30 a.m. This year’s campaign theme is “Give the Gift of Belonging…For All.”
With a campaign goal of $2 million, the Y seeks to help transform lives and communities by providing program support and financial assistance to local youth and families who need the Y most.
According to the YMCA, the Kick-Off Breakfast will honor the William Penn Foundation as the “Community Impact Champion,” for the “tremendous” contributions it has made to the Y’s Watershed Education by Bike program.
“The Annual Campaign is critical as it assures that no individual will be denied membership or program participation due to limited resources,” said Bill Emerson, chair, board of governors, YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties. “We appreciate the community’s continued support to help us raise funds and close the financial gap for families who need assistance.”
