Hopeworks receives a little help from their friends

Hopeworks ‘n Camden is an organization that seeks to reduce the city’s near 70 percent high school dropout rate and create hope for the future — hope for good jobs, business development, and educational opportunities, specifically for African-American and Hispanic high school drop outs ages 17 to 25.

Yesenia Nieves (left), Assistant Director, Hopeworks ‘n Camden, and Michael Sontag (right), Chief Operations Officer, Hopeworks, received $4,500 from Jersey Business Leaders’ (JBL) President Terry Wall, the proceeds from the ‘Roll for Hope’ fundraiser coordinated by JBL to benefit the Hopeworks charity.
