The Bagel Spot to open new location at Katz JCC

The Bagel Spot’s second location is scheduled to open at the JCC in mid-August.

The Bagel Spot, a family-owned eatery in Cherry Hill, will open their eastside location at the Katz JCC in mid-August. The Bagel Spot, known for their New York style bagels made from scratch, has been in Cherry Hill since the 1960s. It will offer a vast menu including bagels and bagel sandwiches, hamantaschen, challah and more.

“We’re so excited to be opening a location on the east side of town, and what better place than the Katz JCC,” said Lesley Wagner Vincenti, owner of The Bagel Spot. “We are excited for the opportunity and look forward to serving as many customers on the east side as we do on the west side.”

The Eastside Bagel Spot will offer over a dozen variety of bagels and cream cheeses such as Tuscan tomato, birthday batter and garlic and herb. Specialty sandwiches on the menu will include a sushi lox special with nova lox, scallion, cream cheese, cucumber and wasabi sauce, a pastrami lox Rueben with pastrami nova, Russian dressing, sauerkraut and swiss cheese and a chipotle tuna melt with muenster cheese and avocado.

“When you think of bagels in the area, there’s no doubt The Bagel Spot is the place to go,” said Les Cohen, Katz JCC executive director. “Their new location at the JCC will be such a wonderful addition to the JCC. We can’t wait to see the shop full of happy customers enjoying everything on their delicious menu.”

The Eastside Bagel Spot will be open Sundays from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays from 6:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Fridays from 6:30 a.m. through 3 p.m. The location will be closed on Saturday. It is a certified kosher eatery, under the supervision of the Cherry K Vaad. In addition to stopping in for a meal, catering will also be available.
