Cherry Hill Police charge woman in connection with fatal hit and run collision
On Thursday, Sept. 15, Binh Tsan, 25, was tragically struck while attempting to cross the westbound lanes of Rt. 70 at Ranaldo Terrace from the grass median after vehicular traffic in both westbound lanes were stopped due to congestion, Cherry Hill police said.
Tsan was traveling with Michael Medina, 25. She was transported to Cooper Trauma. She died two days later as a result of her injuries.
According to several witnesses, the vehicle that struck both pedestrians did not make any attempt to stop after the impact and continued to pass all the stopped vehicles as it traveled along the westbound shoulder lane until it was out of sight.
On Sunday, the Cherry Hill Police Department received a tip on the location of the vehicle used in the hit and run.
Police responded to the 200 block of Cross Keys Road in Berlin and located a 2000 silver Pontiac Grand Am parked in the driveway. According to police, the car had damage consistent with the accident. Police impounded the vehicle as evidence and brought the registered owner back to the Cherry Hill Police Department for an interview.
Elisha Pollosco, 25, was arrested and charged with one count of Knowingly leaving the scene of motor vehicle accident resulting in death and one count of Hindering Apprehension 2C-29–3.
This afternoon, Pollosco is being arraigned at Superior Court of Camden County.
