Troy Pelfrey of Cherry Hill, NJ, joined UnitedHealthcare colleagues and friends to have their heads shaved to help give hope to children with cancer. By going bald, Troy and 22 other volunteers raised more than $100,000 for children’s cancer research.
All proceeds will be donated to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, which makes grants to medical professionals, scientists and other oncology experts to find new and better cures for fighting kids’ cancers.
