The following incidents were taken from reports on file with the Cherry Hill Police Department’s Facebook page.
On Jan. 24 through investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit a man of the 300 block of North Burlington Street in Gloucester City and a person of the 300 block of Mercer Street in Gloucester City were charged for their involvement in the theft of commercial air conditioner units in the township of Cherry Hill.
On Jan. 24 at 8:11 a.m., police located a suspicious man at New York Avenue and Rhode Island Avenue. Through investigation by police, the man was found to be in possession of items recently stolen from a vehicle on the 100 Block of Rhode Island Avenue. The man, of the 2500 block of Sepviva Street in Philadelphia, was arrested and charged with Burglary to a Structure (motor vehicle).
On Jan. 24 at 4:45 p.m., a man of the 700 block of West Browning Road in Collingswood was charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave Wegman’s, 2100 Route 70 West, without paying for merchandise valued at $230.88.
On Jan. 24 through investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit a woman of the 7900 block of Gilbert Street in Philadelphia was charged with theft of movable property after stealing cash from a customer at Nordstrom’s, Cherry Hill Mall, with whom she was employed.
On Jan. 24 at 7:46 p.m., a man of the 700 block of Everett Street in Camden was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave Kohl’s, 2133 Route 38, without paying for merchandise valued at $255.
On Jan. 24 at 10:26 p.m., police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Route 38 and Longwood Avenue for a violation. Through investigation by police, the vehicle registration was found to be fictitious. The driver, a man of the 1400 block of Ormond Avenue in Camden, was arrested and charged with displaying a false document.
On Jan. 23 at 4:30 p.m., police responded to Just Tires, 408 Haddonfield Road, for a stolen motor vehicle. Police conducted a search of the area and located the vehicle. The driver fled in the vehicle to Philadelphia. On Jan. 24, Philadelphia Police located the vehicle and the driver, a man of the 1900 block of Frontage Road, Cherry Hill, who was arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle and eluding police.
On Jan. 21, through an investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit, a man of the 1600 block of Abbey Road in Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with distribution of marijuana, distribution of marijuana in a park and related charges.
On Jan. 17, through an investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit, a man of the 400 block of Cooper Landing Road in Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine, distribution of cocaine, distribution in a school zone, distribution of marijuana and distribution of marijuana in a park. He was remanded to Camden County Jail in lieu of bail.
