On March 5 at approximately 9:15 p.m., Cherry Hill detectives conducted an undercover prostitution detail at the Crown Plaza. A female who advertised on Backpage was dropped off by a 44-year-old male from Trenton.
After the female solicited the undercover officer, she was arrested without incident.

Further investigation revealed that the male was housing several additional females at the Inn of the Dove and forcing them to engage in prostitution activity several times a day by using violence and threatening their lives if they attempted to leave.

A continued investigation coupled with the females’ statements led to the male being charged with first degree human trafficking. He was remanded to the Camden County Jail in lieu of $250,000 full cash bail. Two vehicles were seized as well as cash and other proceeds of the criminal activity.
