The following information was provided by the Cherry Hill Police Department.
On Monday, Dec. 8, Cherry Hill Police responded to the 1700 block of Burnt Mill Road for report of a burglary. Unknown actors smashed a windowpane on the front door to gain entry into the residence sometime between 8 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 8. Proceeds were jewelry. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit.
On Tuesday, Dec. 9, Cherry Hill Police responded to the 500 block of Fawn Drive for report of a burglary. Unknown actors gained entry into the residence by prying open a rear sliding door. Proceeds were prescription medication and commemorative coins. The time frame is between 5 and 9 p.m. on Dec. 9. This incident is under investigation by the Cherry Hill Police Investigative Unit.
On Wednesday, Dec. 10, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Route 38 and Church Road for a traffic violation. Through investigation by police, a woman from Basking Ridge was arrested and charged with possession of heroin and other related charges.
On Wednesday, Dec. 10, Cherry Hill Police responded to the Woodcrest Pavilions for report of a suspicious male that parked his vehicle and approached a vacant residence. While police were on location, they located an unsecured home on the unit block of Lakeside Avenue that this male was observed near. Also located in the immediate area was a bag that contained burglary tools. Through police investigation, a man from Maple Shade was later located walking on Interstate 295 and was subsequently arrested and charged with criminal trespass and other related charges.
On Wednesday, Dec. 10, a woman from Pemberton was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave the JCPenney’s Department Store without paying for concealed merchandise valued at $627.
On Friday, Dec. 12, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Route 70 and Pine Valley Road for a traffic violation. Through investigation by police, a woman from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of narcotic pills without a prescription and other related charges.
On Friday, Dec. 12, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Route 38 and Longwood Avenue for a traffic violation. Through investigation by police, a man from Delanco was arrested and charged with possession of narcotic pills without a prescription and other related charges.
On Saturday, Dec. 13, Cherry Hill Police observed a suspicious vehicle that was occupied on the parking lot of the America’s Best Value Inn in an obscure area away from guest rooms. While conducting an investigation, the passenger, a man from Philadelphia, fled on foot from the vehicle. After a short foot pursuit, the man was apprehended, and subsequently charged with eluding arrest by fleeing and other related charges.
On Saturday, Dec. 13, a man from Cherry Hill was arrested and charged with theft by means of conveyance after he did not return a vehicle that he borrowed from another person.
On Saturday, Dec. 13, a woman from Lawnside was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave Wegmans without paying for concealed merchandise valued at $220.87.
On Sunday, Dec. 14, a woman from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave the Sephora store located inside the Cherry Hill Mall without paying for concealed merchandise valued at $357.
On Sunday, Dec. 14, a man from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave the Walmart store without paying for concealed merchandise valued at $228.97 and other charges.
On Monday, Dec. 15, Cherry Hill Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at North Park Boulevard and Donahue Avenue for a traffic violation. Through investigation by police, a man from West Berlin was arrested and charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine and other related charges.
On Monday, Dec. 15, a woman from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave the Sephora store located inside the Cherry Hill Mall without paying for concealed merchandise valued at $200.
On Monday, Dec. 15, a woman from Gloucester City was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave the Kohl’s store without paying for concealed merchandise valued at $300.
On Monday, Dec. 15, a man from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with shoplifting after attempting to leave the Microsoft store located inside the Cherry Hill Mall without paying for concealed merchandise valued at $999.
On Monday, Dec. 15, Cherry Hill Police responded to the Express store located inside the Cherry Hill Mall for report of a shoplifter that had ran from the store with merchandise totaling $1,100. The male actor was observed by police on the mall parking lot and then fled. After a foot pursuit, a man from Camden was apprehended and charged with shoplifting, resisting arrest and other related charges.
