Do you remember bringing a treasured possession to school and telling your friends why you loved it so much? Why should schoolchildren have all the fun? Adults of all ages are invited to bring an item with a personal history and tell a story about it on Tuesday, May 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cherry Hill Public Library.
Old photos, family mementos and local history artifacts are just some of the things people have brought to Show & Tell. Perhaps it’s an old letter parents wrote to one another during the war or a musical instrument passed down through generations. The possibilities are endless. It’s free, fun and the stories will warm the heart. Participants don’t have to show and tell — you can simply look and listen!
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (856) 903–1207 or visit www.chplnj.org.
