With snow expected to arrive Wednesday morning, many offices will be closing early around town.
With a winter storm expected to hit the region on Wednesday and bring a combination of accumulating snow, sleet and rain, many offices around Cherry Hill Township are opting to close early or not open at all.
Cherry Hill Township has announced that Town Hall will be closed all day Wednesday due to the snow. Municipal Court and all recreational activities are also cancelled.
As of early Wednesday afternoon, trash and recycling pickup was suspended for the day in Cherry Hill. Neighborhoods scheduled for Wednesday who did not get their trash or recycling picked up will have their pickup on Thursday.
Cherry Hill Public Schools announced on Tuesday it would be operating on an early dismissal schedule for Wednesday. High schools are dismissing at 11:45 a.m., middle schools at 12:15 p.m. and elementary schools at 1 p.m. In addition, the kindergarten information session scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m. at the Katz JCC has been moved to Thursday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. More information on the early dismissal can be found at https://cherryhillsun.com/cherry-hill-public-schools-announces-early-dismissal-schedule-for-wednesday-49c91a2dc2bb.
The Cherry Hill Public Library will close at 11 a.m. today. All events scheduled for today have been cancelled and will be re-scheduled for a future date.
The Katz JCC has announced it will close at 4 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
Township residents are reminded to park their cars off the street and in driveways to help with snow removal efforts today. Residents are encouraged to stay home and off the roads once the storm arrives to allow plow crews and emergency personnel to do their jobs.
