Update: Man identified in alleged in Cherry Hill luring incident, investigation ongoing

The following information was provided by the Cherry Hill Police Department.

Cherry Hill Police have now identified the man suspected of luring two juvenile girls on AprilĀ 6.

On April 6 at approximately 5:20 p.m., two juvenile females were walking home from the Wawa located at 843 Cooper Landing Road in Cherry Hill, when they reported a white male operating a blue four-door sedan, possibly a Buick, pulled alongside them near the intersection of South Lincoln Avenue and Garfield Avenue. The male asked the females if they needed a ride home at which time they ran off and the male drove away without further incident. According to the information received by police, the male had been at the Wawa a few minutes earlier when the two females were inside theĀ store.

Police are saying the man is not a Cherry Hill resident, but was in Cherry Hill at the time of the incident. His exact identity has not yet been released and no charges have been filed. Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
