The New Jersey Department of Transportation is performing roadwork on Route 70. Closures will be in effect each night from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists driving along Route 70 in the late night hours may run into lane closures as construction is done along the road.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation is performing roadwork on Route 70. The work is taking place from mile marker 2.55 to 5.33 in Cherry Hill.
Temporary lane closures will be in place each night from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning. The closures will allow for concrete slab removal, electrical work, milling, paving and striping on the road.
“Anyone driving on Route 70 in Cherry Hill needs to be aware that the state is closing lanes each night to accommodate this roadwork,” said Camden County Freeholder Shin Angulo, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works. “Please allow yourself extra time when traveling on Route 70, and whenever possible take an alternate route.”
