Cherry Hill Police searching for ATM robbery suspect

A suspect stole cash from a female at the Navy Federal Credit Union ATM on Monday night.

Cherry Hill Police are looking for a suspect who robbed a woman while she was using an ATM.

The robbery occurred on Monday, Dec. 5 at about 8:45 p.m. A female was using the ATM located at Navy Federal Credit Union on Route 38. A man approached the woman from behind and attempted to steal her cash. The woman was able to fight off the suspect, however, the man grabbed a portion of the victim’s cash and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5-feet, 6-inches tall, with a slim build. He was wearing a black knit hat, gray jacket and blue jeans.
