Rosa boys basketball finishes 2016–17 season with undefeated record

The Raptors defeated Kings Christian Academy, 85–69, on Tuesday night to finish the season 14–0.

Rosa International Middle School’s boys basketball team capped off a perfect season last night in the team’s final game.

The Rosa Raptors won their 14th game, 85–69, over Kings Christian Academy, on Feb. 14. The win allowed Rosa to finish the season with an undefeated 14–0 record. Their season included four wins against both Beck and Carusi middle schools.

Rosa boys basketball is coached by Jules Farkas, a humanities teacher at Rosa for the past 16 years. The team was led by a talented group of eighth graders who also play together on the Cherry Hill Travel 8A Team. The team’s top scorers for the season were Kyle Aquino, Stephen Flynn, Noah Stofman and Matt Lang.
