The Code Blue Emergency was issued ahead of expected low temperatures overnight Wednesday into Thursday.
Cherry Hill and all of Camden County will be under a Code Blue Emergency on Wednesday night. The Code Blue will be in effect from 6 p.m. Wednesday evening through 6 a.m. Thursday morning.
The Code Blue was issued ahead of expected low temperatures overnight. AccuWeather forecasts lows to dip down to 22 degrees in Cherry Hill tonight, with the Real Feel temperature making it feel as low as 11Â degrees.
Community members are asked to check on relatives and neighbors who are elderly, disabled or who live alone, to ensure their safety. Also, bring pets inside during the overnight hours.
In Cherry Hill, individuals seeking shelter in a warming center can visit the Carman Tilelli Community Center, the Cherry Hill Mall (open until 9:30 p.m.) or the Cherry Hill Public Library (open until 9Â p.m.)
