The Camden County Department of Public Works was scheduled to begin work on improvements to the South Cropwell Road Bridge over Cropwell Brook in Cherry Hill Twp. today. The project is expected to last about two weeks and is dependent on weather and other factors.

“Improving our roadway infrastructure while increasing highway safety is one of the best investments we can make in our county,” said Camden County Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Each year the Freeholder Board identifies roadways and bridges that are in need of improvement across our region.”

The project is expected to have minimal impact on traffic. It is one of three repair projects begin conducted in the county over the next two weeks.
