Mount Laurel voters headed to the polls on Nov. 7

Township’s board of education elects 2 new board members and reelects incumbent.

Voters in Mount Laurel Township went to the polls on Nov. 7 and elected members of the board of education. The Burlington County Clerk’s Office has posted results from the election on its website. All of the election results are unofficial and will remain unofficial until a vote counting process that could take more than a week has been completed.

The totals as of Nov. 10 do not include late mail-in ballots and provisional ballots, which are expected to be tallied later this week.

Three candidates including an incumbent ran in an uncontested race for the three available seats.

Jade Moustakas has received 6,739 votes as of Nov. 10; Incumbent member Jon Paradise received 6,649 votes as of Nov. 10; and Sapna Rustagi has received 6, 509 votes as of Nov. 10.

There are 128 personal choice votes.

Paula D. Lee was selected as the Mount Laurel Township representative on the Lenape Regional Board of Education in an uncontested race for one seat. She has received 7,933 votes. There are 41 personal choice votes.
