CHAACA, Cherry Hill Public Library hosting Black History Month contest

Cherry Hill Public Schools students in grades kindergarten to 12 are invited to participate in the contest.

Cherry Hill students are invited to participate in the Reverend Ivan George Essay, Poster and Video Contest for Black History Month 2018. The contest is sponsored by the Cherry Hill African American Civic Association and the Cherry Hill Public Library.

All Cherry Hill Public School students in grades kindergarten to 12 are invited to participate. There will be three monetary prizes each for kindergarten and first grade; second and third grade; fourth and fifth grade; sixth and seventh grade; eighth and ninth grade; 10th and 11th grade, and 12th grade. This year’s theme is African-Americans in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).

Submissions will be accepted until Feb. 2. Contact your school guidance counselor for details or follow this link: https://chplnj.org/kids_news_events for more information. A reception for all participants and their families will be held on March 3 at the Cherry Hill Public Library.
