The Cougars won their 10th consecutive sectional title with a 105–65 win over Egg Harbor Twp. High School.
Cherry Hill High School East defended its South Jersey Group A sectional championship on Wednesday afternoon at Gloucester County Institute of Technology. The Cougars defeated Egg Harbor Township High School, 105–65, to win the program’s 10th consecutive sectional title.

The Cougars won first place in all three relay events as well as five of eight individual races. Leading the way for Cherry Hill East was Jackson Brookvoer, who took first place in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke, and Jack Watson, who won both the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle.
Cherry Hill East is aiming to win its second straight Group A state championship and third in four years. The Cougars will next compete in the state Group A semifinals next Wednesday.
