Cherry Hill’s Holiday Lighting Ceremony set for Monday night

The ceremony will begin at 6:30 p.m. inside the Carman Tilelli Community Center.

Residents can kick off the holiday season on Monday night at the Carman Tilelli Community Center.

Cherry Hill Township is hosting its annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. The ceremony will commemorate the start of Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas.

Attendees will enjoy traditional sounds of the season with musical performances as the township lights its Menorah, Christmas Tree and ceremonial Diwali candle called a Diya. There will also be a special appearance by Santa and light refreshments.

The event is free and open to the public. The Carman Tilelli Community Center is located at 820 Mercer Street.
