Arrest made in August burglary case

On Aug. 27, 2022, a residential burglary was reported in Deptford Township. Jewelry and a purse were taken from the residence during the incident. A rear door was forced open and damaged.

On Nov. 1, 2022, members of the Deptford Township Police Department, Monroe Township Police Department, Evesham Township Police Department, Camden County SWAT team and Lindenwold Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence in Lindenwold (Camden County). During a search of the residence, evidence was located which further implicated the suspect.

The suspect was charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief in reference to the Deptford Township incident.

The male was identified as:

Name: Shadeed M. Jordan

Age: 35

Residence: Lindenwold (Camden County)

The male was lodged in Salem County Jail pending a hearing. Criminal complaints are mere allegations of wrongdoing. Every defendant is considered innocent until found guilty in court.
