Markeim Arts Center, located at 104 Walnut Street, is hosting an annual fundraising gala on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Musical Performances for the evening will be provided by two bands, Loretta Jones, featuring Al Gibson and Matt Falciani of The Boro and Knocked Out Colds.
Refreshments and catering will be provided by Mark Rooks of Rent-a-Chef. A Sample menu that is subject to change may include; imported and Domestic Cheese Display, Fresh Tomato Bruschetta Mirror with Toasted Crostini, Oysters Rockefeller baked with spinach and cheese, Scallops and bacon with orange marmalade, Chicken quesadillas with ranch drizzle Chicken parmesan spring rolls dollop of red sauce, Grilled lamb chops Assorted Gourmet Cookies and Cakes and Mint Oreo parfaits.
There will be an open bar with wine and beer. Beer will be provided by the new brewery in Haddonfield, King’s Road Brewing Company.

Throughout the evening, artists from Ice Concepts will use chain saws and other surprising tools to create a one-of-a-kind ice sculpture that also supports the evening’s theme. On the walls of Markeim will be the exhibition of the same name, Fire, Water & Ice, featuring the work of photographers Deborah Garwood and Mark Lennon.
Tickets are $85 each, $150 per pair. A portion of the tickets price is tax deductible as Markeim is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
