Flags for Heroes is an activity sponsored by the Garden State Rotary of Cherry Hill where people can sponsor a flag dedicated in memory of the men and women who are serving or have served as members in the military, police officers, fire fighters, first responders, parents, teachers, coaches, mentors, community leaders and fly for all the people who have made a difference in their lives.

They are your heroes. Rows of American flags will be flying at the Garden State Rotary Complex located at 470 E. Evesham Road in Cherry Hill. On Sunday, Sept. 11, the flags will be proudly displayed to recognize and honor the heroes. For some visitors, it is a place of contemplation. For others, it is a place to run with their children through a sea of red, white and blue. For everyone, it becomes a place of reflection for people who have been the heroes in their lives.

Flag sponsorship is $50 and can be done through emailing [email protected]. Flags are owned by the Garden State Rotary of Cherry Hill. All proceeds benefit service projects in the Cherry Hill community.
