Registration is open for Cherry Hill Public School’s Summer Music Enrichment Program! The program will run from Tuesday, July 5 to Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Cherry Hill High School West. This will be an in-person program offering small group classes in instrumental music and music theory. There will be no virtual option.
Classes include:
- Beginning Band and Orchestra (students completed Grade 3, no experience necessary) meets from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Intermediate Orchestra (strings only–experienced players, Grades 5 to 12) meets from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
- Intermediate Band (experienced players, Grades 5 to 12) meets from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Jazz Ensemble (experienced players, Grades 6 to 12) meets 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Students may use their own instruments and book or rent from a music store or company.
- The fee for the Summer Music Enrichment Program covers instruction and the cost of materials:
One class: $125 - Two classes: $200
Transportation is provided by parents.
All classes are open to Cherry Hill residents grades 4 to 12. Depending on the instrument your child may need a special mask or bell cover. Prices vary by instrument. If enrollment is insufficient, the program and/or class will be cancelled and all fees will be refunded. Additional classes, based on the number of students enrolled, will be added as necessary.
