The Camden County One Stop Career Center and the Board of Commissioners will host a series of online and in-person job fairs throughout the next several days to recruit new employees in the wake of a nationwide labor shortage.
“Given the state of the workforce right now, being able to give job seekers an opportunity to connect with employers is crucial,” said Commissioner Jon Young Sr., who also serves as the liaison to the county’s Department of Economic and Workforce Development. “We encourage all Camden County residents in search of employment to join us at the upcoming series of career fairs.”
Virtual career fairs are being held by PSE&G Gas Operations and Bayada Home Health Care. PSE&G’s event runs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. today and can be joined by visiting jobs.pseg.com/go/union. Bayada’s event will be held on Thursday at 1 p.m. and can be accessed here.
Waste Management will be hosting an in-person career fair on Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1001 Fairview Street in Camden. Walk-ins and prescheduled interviews are welcome.
