REMINDER: Public meeting for historic district ordinance update is tonight

The following information was taken from Haddonfield Borough’s online bulletin.

The Borough Commissioners have hired Carter van Dyke Associates to assist in an update of the borough’s Historic District Ordinance. The consultant will solicit comments from the Borough Commissioners, planning board, zoning board and the historic district commission. They would also like to receive comments, suggestions, complaints and recommendations from the residents and landlords that own property in the district. The district is not considering an expansion of the district at this time. The focus of the review is on the existing rules and regulations of the ordinance.

Your input can be provided in two ways. First, there is a public meeting scheduled for Monday, June 24, at 7 p.m. in the Borough Hall auditorium. The second way will be to participate in a public survey which will be available on the borough’s web site by June 28.

Should you not be able to attend the meeting and are not able to provide all of your thoughts on the survey, you may call or email Sharon McCullough, our borough administrator for further input. She can be reached at 429–4700, ext. 215 or [email protected].
