Haddonfield seniors win big at Camden County Senior Art Show

The artists of the senior art workshop at the Mabel Kay House, instructor Beth Wagner, have fared very well at the Camden County Senior Art Show that is currently taking place at the Katz Jewish Community Center in Cherry Hill, and is sponsored by the Camden County Cultural and Heritage Commission. Howard Shivers won first place in nonprofessional oil painting with his piece “Lem’s Cabin” while Bob Metrione placed first with “Arches N.P.” and Kathleen Finan Callan finished in second place with “Garden Glories” in nonprofessional pastel painting. All first place pieces of art, from all New Jersey counties, will now compete at the New Jersey Art Show on September 25 to October 30, 2014 at Meadow Lakes Senior Living in East Windsor.
