Exhibition titled “As the Leaves Turn” to take place from Oct. 26 through Nov. 26
Markeim Arts Center announced a deadline of midnight tonight, Friday, Oct. 12, for submissions to its annual fall invitational, called “As the Leaves Turn.” The juried exhibition in the center’s main gallery will celebrate Autumn, in our calendars and in our lives.
Artists are encouraged to submit new and challenging perspectives of transitional seasons in a variety of media, including paintings, photography, textiles and sculpture. This invitational is open to all artists and their invited guests.
The exhibition is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. through Monday, Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. A reception to open the show is slated to take place on Oct. 26 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
