Cinnaminson Police remind drivers to be mindful of fire lanes

Department notices uptick in cars parked in areas for emergency vehicles

The Cinnaminson Police Department shared the following message:

Recently we have noticed an uptick in people parking and/or waiting in the fire lanes of our businesses. This is problematic all year long, but especially now with our holiday season upon us.

The fire lane is an area where emergency vehicles can gain access to the stores, whether it be a police, fire, or medical emergency. Having a vehicle in the fire lane also makes it harder for pedestrian traffic traveling to and from the stores.

We don’t want to be scrooges and issue fire lane violations, so please help us by staying out of the fire lane.
