Circle the date and grab your stash of mad money! The Haddonfield Lions Club annual Flea Market is right around the corner!
The Flea Market will be happening on Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the parking lot of the Archer & Greiner law firm, One Centennial Square, one block from Haddon Avenue and across Euclid Avenue from the Haddonfield PATCO Station. The GPS address is 33 East Euclid Avenue, Haddonfield. The rain date will be Sept. 27.
Browsers and buyers alike will find a wide assortment of new, used and antique items. Refreshments, including soft drinks, burgers, hotdogs, and pretzels, will be for sale throughout the day at the Lions Club area of the market.
Proceeds from vendor registrations and refreshment sales benefit the Lions Club Blind Fund, which provides financial support for Haddonfield community programs and activities, and offers assistance to those in need and people with vision-related issues locally, regionally and throughout the world.
Once again this year, the Flea Market is scheduled for the same day as the Haddonfield Friends of the Library Book Sale. This Book Sale takes place on Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sunday, Sept. 21 on the Library lawn, just a block from the Flea Market site.
The Haddonfield Farmer’s Market is also open that day, and every Saturday through Oct. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at King’s Court on King’s Highway.
Don’t forget that the Lions Club collects used eyeglasses, cell phones and hearing aids. Bring these items to the Flea Market and put them in the collection box.
