Toddler among seven new GloCo COVID-19 cases

Gloucester County reported an additional seven COVID-19 cases today. The county has conducted 42,324 total tests. Of these cases, 38,710 have come back negative. The total positive COVID-19 case count is now 3,614, with 213 deaths.

Today’s cases include:
• Two cases in Deptford: a 21-year-old female and a 22-year-old male
• Two cases in Wenonah: a 31-year-old male and a 3-year-old male
• One case in Washington Township: a 62-year-old female
• One case in Monroe Township: a 51-year-old (no gender given)
• One case in Franklin Township: a 57-year-old (no gender given)

The Gloucester County Department of Health and Human Services is working with the New Jersey Department of Health to conduct a full assessment that includes identifying the contacts these individuals have had.

At this time, the overall threat of COVID-19 to Gloucester County residents remains low. Gloucester County is expecting cases to rise. Social distancing is critical in flattening the curve and reducing case.
