Primary election information for Medford Township

Primary election ballots have been mailed to registered voters for the July 7 election.

In direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance to Executive Order No. 144, the 2020 Primary election will be held on July 7 and be primarily Vote by Mail.

Ballots have been mailed out to registered Republican and Democratic voters with a postage paid envelope. Unaffiliated and inactive voters have received a vote by mail application along with the return postage paid envelope.

No ballots will be accepted at polling locations. Ballots must post-marked by July 7 for it to be accepted. They can either be placed in residential mailboxes, or dropped at the county’s secure drop box at 91 Union Street, Medford. Only workers with the County Board of Elections can access and pick up ballots.

Voters who wish to cast their votes in person can do so from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at a limited number of polling locations on July 7 and will be issued a provisional ballot.

Voters with disabilities preventing them from voting on a paper ballot will be able to vote on ADA-accessible machines at polling locations.

The polling locations are as follows:

Medford Public Safety Building, 91 Union Street – Districts 1, 2, 6, 8, 9, 12, 14 & 17

Medford EMS Building, 20 Jackson Road – Districts 4 & 10

Medford Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Road – Districts 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 15 & 16
