Gloucester County reported its third straight day of double-digit COVID-19 cases on Thursday, but for the first time since the start of the pandemic, the county has gone four straight days without a new COVID-19 death.
Gloucester County’s 14 reported cases on Thursday is a decline from the 16 reported on Tuesday and 19 on Wednesday. According to figures from the county, 201 tests were reported in the last 24 hours, with 14 coming back positive and 187 negative for a positivity rate of a little less than 7 percent.

- Harrison Twp. – 2
- Swedesboro – 1
- Washington Twp. – 6
- West Deptford – 1
The ages of those testing positive with COVID-19 has been trending younger in recent weeks. Here’s a breakdown of Thursday’s 14 positive cases by age:
- 17 and younger – 1
- 18-34 – 5
- 35-49 – 4
- 50-64 – 3
- 65 and older – 1
Gloucester County’s four-day stretch without a new COVID-19 death is the longest it has had since the county reported its first COVID-19 death on March 27. Over the past 15 days, the county has reported six deaths, a considerable drop from the previous two months.
