Gloucester County COVID-19 cases drop back to teens on June 11

The county reported 14 new cases along with two additional COVID-19 deaths on Thursday.

After two straight days of increase in case numbers, Gloucester County reported a drop on June 11 with 14 new cases, down from the 21 new cases reported on June 10.

Gloucester County also reported the deaths of two residents ill with COVID-19 on June 11. The residents were a 95-year-old Woodbury man and a 90-year-old West Deptford woman. There has been a slight uptick in the number of COVID-19 deaths in Gloucester County the last three days, with five reported since Tuesday.

Here’s a breakdown of Thursday’s new COVID-19 cases by municipality:

  • Deptford – 1
  • Glassboro – 1
  • Mantua – 2
  • Monroe Twp. – 4
  • Paulsboro – 1
  • Pitman – 1
  • Swedesboro – 1
  • Washington Twp. – 1
  • Westville – 1
  • Woolwich – 1
