“It is with great sadness that we announce eight additional deaths caused by coronavirus in Camden County this evening. We are sending our sincerest condolences to the families who have lost a loved one, and we are keeping them in our thoughts and prayers tonight as we mourn the nearly 200 in our community that have succumbed to this disease,” said Freeholder Director Louis Cappelli, Jr.
“Today, in honor of National Nurses Day, I want to send a special thank you to the nurses in our community on behalf of the entire Freeholder Board. These men and women on the front lines have answered the call to service from the first day of this pandemic and have made every effort to support the residents of Camden County. Until we can all gather again to celebrate these American heroes, the best way to show your gratitude is to continue staying home and practicing social distancing so that we can slow the spread of coronavirus and reduce the burden on our health care systems.”
