Gloucester County reports 29 new positive COVID-19 cases on April 24

The number of cases is the lowest daily number for Gloucester County since Monday.

Gloucester County health officials are reporting 29 more county residents have tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the county’s total number to 919.

As of Friday, April 24, 919 have tested positive out of 3,974 total residents tested. Of these cases, 3,022 have come back negative and 33 are pending.

Here is the breakdown of the 29 new COVID-19 cases by municipality:

  • Clayton – 2
  • Deptford – 5
  • Elk – 1
  • Franklin Twp. – 2
  • Glassboro – 3
  • Logan – 1
  • Mantua – 1
  • Monroe Twp. – 4
  • Paulsboro – 2
  • South Harrison Twp. – 1
  • Swedesboro – 1
  • Washington Twp. – 5
  • Westville – 1

The fourth Gloucester County COVID-19 testing date has been scheduled for Thursday, April 30.

Scheduling for the Thursday, April 30 site began this morning. Residents 18 and older with symptoms of COVID-19 must call (856) 218-4142 to be pre-screened. Please have insurance information available at this time. Once pre-screened, an appointment time will be scheduled.
