“Introducing the fastest growing 94-year-old service club in the Haddons,” said Kiwanis Club of the Haddons past club president John (Jack) Wilson, “we invite young and old to learn how they can have a positive impact of the lives of children in our community and in the world.”
The Kiwanis Club of the Haddons invites you to a meet and great reception Tuesday, Jan. 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Tap Room & Grill, 427 West Crystal Lake Blvd. in Haddonfield. There is no cost to attend.
In the last year, Kiwanis Clubs across New Jersey donated 35,000 to 40,000 volunteer hours and donated between $750,000 and $1,000,000 in scholarships and assistance. Additionally, over $1 million in cash and pledges has been raised in 4.5 years towards eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) around the world, and $500,000 for the Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick.
There are over 150 High School Key Clubs sponsored by Kiwanis Clubs in New Jersey, including ones at Haddonfield Memorial High School, Cherry Hill High School East and Eastern Regional High School.
Memberships are available for both individuals and companies, in order to meet the needs of today’s busy lifestyles. If you cannot attend on Jan. 26, or want additional information, contact John D. Wilson at (856) 858–1640 or (856) 833–0401 or e-mail him at [email protected].
