The Haunted Haddonfield walking tours will return on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 11 and 12; Oct. 18 and 19; and Oct. 25 and 26.
The tours are based on the stories in author Bill Meehan’s two volumes of “Haunted Haddonfield,” both available to buy in the Historical Society of Haddonfield office or via its website. Meehan was an accomplished researcher, writer and public speaker with several published books who passed away in December 2021. With the blessing of his family, the historical society has continued the tours he led for more than 20 years.
The tours are ticketed. Groups will meet at 7 p.m. at Greenfield Hall; flashlights and comfortable shoes are recommended. Private tours can be scheduled in advance by calling (856) 429-7375 or by email at [email protected]. Each walking tour has a limited number of participants per night.
