Participants will build their word processing and text editing skills and learn the many facets that make Word an essential tool to work with. Free alternatives to Word will also be covered. Are you Game? Game Night at Ted’s: Ages 21 years and up. 6 to 8 p.m. at Zed’s Beer located at 19 North Maple Avenue. Residents are invited out to Zed’s Beer to enjoy a variety of games and brews. Zed’s will offer a mix of classics, as well as strategy games such as Azul, Everdell, and Tsuro, among others. Residents are encouraged to bring friends. Baby Time: Ages up to 18 months. 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to the library for a fun interactive event, which includes stories, rhymes, movement and more. This class focuses on early language and literacy understanding through stories and repetitive rhymes or songs. Caregivers are encouraged to participate in this bonding experience. “Baby Time” is also an opportunity to socialize with other families and meet new friends. Marlton Senior Club: Adult Seniors 55 and up. 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Gibson House Community Center (535 E. Main St.). All senior citizens ages 55 and older are welcome to attend these meetings. The meetings take place every first and third Thursday of the month. Participants enjoy coffee, donuts and regularly scheduled games and other entertainment. No registration required.
Sing-Along with Mr. Jim: Ages 2 to 6 years. 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to join Mr. Jim on a fun musical adventure of silly and educational songs for kids. Medicare Questions Answered: Adults and senior residents.6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Evesham Library. Residents are invited to the library for an educational Medicare workshop with Insurance Specialist Jason L’Hommedieu. Topics will include: A comprehensive overview of Medicare options, important changes coming to Medicare in 2025, key actions to take during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) and an interactive Q&A session to address participants Medicare concerns. Attendees will be able to get insights into their coverage choices, key considerations during their plan review, and critical enrollment deadlines. Registration is required at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
