Here’s another reason Burlington County’s Farmers Market should be ranked number one in the region. This Saturday is a special peach-themed market day with several varieties of Jersey Fresh peaches for sale, along with scores of other peach products, including peach chutney, salsa, jams, teas, pies, cobblers, scones, ice cream and more!
The Peach Party at the Farmers Market will be held during the regular market hours of 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday. In addition to the peachy goods for sale, the market will feature a peach-themed cooking demonstration, kids activity, peach basket giveaways and samples of peach ice cream and peach crumble while supplies last. The Flim Flam Band will also be performing throughout the day.
Peach Party is one of several theme days planned this summer, including the upcoming Tomato Day on Aug. 31 and For the Love of Squash Day on Sept. 28.
Now in its 18th season, the Burlington County Farmers Market is held rain or shine on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Burlington County Agricultural Center. This year’s season began in May and runs through Nov. 23, plus a special holiday market on Dec. 7.
