Save the Environment of Moorestown (STEM) was presented with the prestigious ANJEC (Association of New Jersey Environmental Commissions) Environmental Achievement Award at the latter’s 50th annual Environmental Congress last month.
STEM’s award cited the Swede Run Fields habitat restoration project; the organization was one of five recognized for outstanding environmental achievements. Local environmentalists gathered at the conference to celebrate their accomplishments, learn from conservation experts and interact with state and federal policymakers.
