Four New Jersey men have been charged with an attempted car burglary on May 28 in the 100 block of Brooks Road, Moorestown police said.

The four tried and failed to access a locked vehicle – parked in the owner’s driveway – at about 2:58 a.m. Responding officers were told by the resident that two unknown males were observed on a security camera. They were seen entering a dark colored sedan with two other men before leaving the area.

Moorestown police eventually spotted the sedan and conducted a motor-vehicle stop. Inside were four suspects who were then charged with attempted burglary: Najee Gregory and two juveniles from Newark, as well as Tyree Dwyer of Irvington.

While the suspects were charged accordingly, the investigation is ongoing. Additional charges may be filed related to previous vehicle burglaries or thefts.
