The Camden County Department of Health is announcing new positive cases of COVID-19 which occurred between Tuesday, Nov. 14 and Monday, Nov. 28.
From Tuesday Nov. 14 to Monday, Nov. 21, there were 480 new positive cases of COVID and 103 cases detected through antigen testing, which brings the week’s total to 584. The daily case average for this week is 69. During this week, there were four new COVID-related deaths.
Of the 480 cases, 57 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 47.

The daily case average for this week is 69, an increase from the previous week’s average of 63.
From Tuesday, Nov. 22 through Monday, Nov. 28, Camden County Department of Health announced 421 new positive cases of COVID-19. Additionally, there were 120 cases detected through antigen testing, which brings this week’s total to 541. There were five new COVID-related deaths that occurred during this week.
The aggregate number of confirmed positive cases in Camden County to 130,521 and 1,739 total fatalities.
The outcomes from these antigen tests, unlike the results from the polymerase chain reaction, (PCR) are probable positive cases. These daily numbers are added into our aggregated lab tested PCR metrics.
Of the 421 cases, 51 are among patients under 18 years old. The average age of the newly infected is 47 years old.

The daily case average for this week was 60, a decrease of around 9 cases from the week prior.

The county Health Department is continuing to closely track new cases of COVID-19 and information regarding the prevalence of the Omicron variant. New cases are often reassigned to other municipalities over the course of an investigation.
