Downtown Haddonfield is the place to be Friday with two new exciting events!
The Partnership for Haddonfield sponsors the first Halloween Night Market in Kings Court. The Court and the surrounding sidewalks will be filled with vendors & artists selling spooky merchandise like apothecary, horticulture, clothing, and more! Fun for the entire family with a DJ and face painting.
The Night Market Hours are 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For a list of vendors and activities, visit ww.downtownhaddonfield.com
Watch Game 1 of the World Series live on Kings Highway!
Following the Halloween Night Market festivities, stay on the newly repaved Kings Highway (bring your chair) to watch the Phillies beat the Astros!
Mayor Colleen Bianco Bezich and Chief Jason Cutler were sponsoring the movie Beetlejuice after the Halloween Night Market, but when the Phillies clinched a World Series berth, they quickly switched gears.
“My first order of business after the win on Sunday was to call Chief Cutler to see if we can knock this out of the park for our Borough,” said Bianco Bezich. “We are excited for Friday to be a history-making night by hosting the first-ever Halloween Night Market and the first time to stream a World Series game on Kings Highway!”
Haddonfield Police Department will close Kings Highway to traffic from Haddon Avenue to Tanner Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. to set up the viewing area. The game starts at 8 p.m.
