The Cherry Hill concert will take place on Sunday April 24 at Trinity Presbyterian Church located at 499 Route 70 East starting at 4 p.m.  Doors will open at 3:30 p.m.

The Rittenhouse Square concert will take place on Friday May 6 at The Church of the Holy Trinity located at 1904 Walnut Street, Philadelphia starting at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m.

General admission tickets for both concerts are $25, with discounts available for senior citizens at $22 and students at $15.  Advance tickets are available now at https://www.gpchoralsociety.com/ and will also be available at the door for both concerts.

Greater Philadelphia Choral Society made its debut in December 2021 to standing ovations with its performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria and Christmas favorites before a large and appreciative audience.  Gorton has been thoughtful about the repertoire he is programming as the Choral Society builds membership and audiences, choosing music that will appeal to both. The success of the “Gloria” led logically to a more extensive yet much-beloved masterwork, Mozart’s Requiem.

Greater Philadelphia Choral Society was founded to perform inspiring choral masterworks throughout the Philadelphia region. Members are selected by audition and rehearse weekly in Haddonfield, NJ.  GPCS members also partake in outreach to under-represented populations by performing at Camden County Correctional Facility, collecting non-perishable food items at concerts, and are currently expanding outreach efforts to schools and nursing homes. Support of this non-profit organization will not only facilitate great musical art, but will also serve many social needs in the community.
